With the imminent release of the MBA’s Australian waterproofing guidelines and its strong recommendations for the use of PVC membranes Aviva has introduced a PVC membrane on to the Australian market.
PVCs sold in Australia have tended to be around twice as expensive as alternative systems.
The new Aviva product will be highly competitive with the liquids and torchons already in the market.
The PVC membrane is ideal for timber and concrete use and can be laid on damp surfaces.
The PVC membrane can be left exposed (it is UV stable) and is resistant to plant roots. The PVC membrane can be both loose-laid and glued down.
The PVC membrane requires no curing time and is designed to be used as a single layer system.
