Hunter Low Profile III ceiling fans, available from Prestige Fans , operate incredibly close to the ceiling, 198mm from ceiling to the bottom of the blades. This means that installing a ceiling fan is now possible in today’s homes and apartments where ceiling heights of 2.4m are largely standard.
Hunter Low Profile III ceiling fans have minimal projection from the ceiling, meaning that they are well out of reach and harms way, yet still provide all the air movement and energy saving benefits of a traditional ceiling fan.
The low profile ceiling fans are supplied with two sets of blades, 112cm (44”) & 132cm (52”), making them suitable for all room sizes. Both sets of fan blades are reversible to allow selection of colour that best suits the decor. The Brushed Nickel ceiling fan has Chocolate coloured blades with Maple on the reverse side, and the White colour includes White blades with Maple on the reverse side.
The Hunter Low Profile III ceiling fans come with a pull chain for operation of the fan. The low profile ceiling fan can also be connected to wall controls or remote controls if required. The ceiling fans can be fitted with optional light kits.
Furthermore, Low Profile III ceiling fans feature a summer/winter switch that allows the fan to be operated in reverse in the winter months, recirculating the hot air near the ceiling. This action provides a more even, comfortable temperature, and also helps to reduce winter heating costs by over 10%.
