Market-leading supplier of portable room dividers and mobile partitions,
Portable Partitions Australia (PPA) was approached by Jones Lang LaSalle in
Sydney to help create a dynamic multipurpose office space for one of their
Adaptability and flexibility are two key requirements if an office wants
to ensure maximum utilisation of available working space. Having a multipurpose
space will allow room for dynamic utilisation to optimally meet varying needs
such as meetings, functions, training sessions or chill-out areas.
In this particular instance, the client sought a flexible work and game
space within an existing large cavernous room. The solution would enable the
client to quickly and easily transform the room, depending on requirements. From
an aesthetic perspective, the client wanted to incorporate bright and vibrant
custom fabric colours to match the current room décor. The client also wanted
to avoid expensive permanent building works.
Portable Partitions Australia supplied multiple units of the 360 acoustic
portable room dividers in various sizes to allow maximum versatility as well as
dampen sound travel between different quadrants of the room. Custom fabric
panels and polycarbonate panels were used to create a bespoke look and feel. PPA’s
portable room dividers are easy to fold, stack and store when not in use.
The end result was impressive, creating a modern and fresh look and
transforming a previously underutilised space into a hub of activity.
Manuel Ortega, Senior Facilities Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle
commented that the portable room dividers have helped transform a single large
room at their client’s office into a more flexible work/game space. The room has
been divided into four different spaces that are used as a combination of small
meeting rooms, boardrooms and games areas. The white polycarbonate panels can
be used as whiteboards or customised with logos and artwork, and the fabric
panels are used to pin or tack things.
