Portable Partitions Australia supplied acoustic room dividers to the Bronte Bowling Club in Sydney to help maximise space utilisation in their main function room.

Clubs often have to look for new ways to create additional income streams to ensure they can survive and prosper against a backdrop of dwindling memberships and growing competition. To attract new clientele, venues are required to accommodate multiple functions and events simultaneously, which means they need to maximise the versatility and adaptability of their rooms.

The market-leading supplier of portable room dividers and mobile partitions, Portable Partitions Australia (PPA) was recently approached by Bronte Bowling Club for a solution to cost-effectively divide their main function room to accommodate multiple activities. The club sought a solution that would be portable and simple to handle without having to invest in permanent rigid partition systems and expensive permanent building works. The mobile partition units needed to be easy to fold, move and store, and versatile enough to help create multiple room configurations.

Following the initial consultation, the PPA 360 acoustic portable room dividers were selected for the project. The PPA 360 partition unit offers multiple configuration capabilities such as curved, zig-zag and L-shape for maximum versatility. The wheels on the lightweight folding unit allow easy transportation around the club.

The room divider’s excellent sound dampening properties were an advantage in the club environment while the mixture of fabric and polycarbonate panels created an eye-catching, modern finish.

Phil Mortimer, Chairman of Bronte Bowling Club said that the board was very pleased with the portable room dividers for their flexibility. The club plans to purchase further units in the near future for multiple uses around the venue.
