Portable Partitions Australia (PPA) recently supplied its portable room
dividers to the Narooma Sporting & Service Club (NSW) to create temporary
storage space for their spare tables and chairs.
On-site storage capacity can often be an issue for many Australian pubs and
clubs since they need to store large numbers of equipment and furniture within
the venue for use at any given time. Dedicated storage areas quickly reach
capacity and the venue is often forced to create temporary storage areas within
any available space resulting in unsightly views for customers and members.
As the market-leading supplier of portable room dividers and mobile
partitions, PPA was approached by the club to help provide a temporary solution
for creating a hidden storage area for their additional chairs and tables. The
club sought partitions that could be easily moved and stored away when not in
use and versatile enough to create storage areas of different sizes.
Following discussions between PPA and the club, the 360 folding portable
room dividers were selected for the project, particularly because these
partition units offered multiple configurations such as curved, zig-zag and
L-shape for versatile application. The partitions also feature a lightweight
folding design with wheels for easy movement.
Brendan Matters, Operations Manager at Narooma Sporting & Service
Club said they were keen on temporary privacy screen systems that could be used
to keep spare chairs and tables out of sight when not in use. He added that the
360 room divider was not only visually appealing but also highly flexible in
application allowing them to make it smaller or bigger as required.
The club plans to purchase additional units in the near future for use
across the venue in a variety of applications such as dividing existing rooms
into smaller rooms and also as mobile information boards.
