Pharmacy consultation booth created using acoustic polycarbonate panels from Portable Partitions Australia

    Portable Partitions Australia

Portable Partitions Australia (PPA) supplied a portable partition system to a Queensland-based pharmacy store to create a temporary customer consultation booth.

Pharmacies all over Australia are increasingly under pressure from both consumers and the government to broaden their current service offering to include more in-store medical and lifestyle consultations in addition to administering inoculations and vaccinations.

Many existing pharmacy stores simply do not have the appropriate private customer spaces required to provide these additional services; budget and time constraints additionally prevent them from putting up these spaces.

Permanent building works and renovations required to create a new consultation space within a pharmacy are very often not practical, largely due to budgetary constraints as well as potential for store disruption.

In situations like these, temporary flexible solutions such as the portable partitions supplied by PPA can prove to be a viable alternative.

The Queensland pharmacy chose PPA’s 360 acoustic folding portable room divider for their store largely because of its acoustic performance, cost effectiveness, design flexibility and aesthetics.

Made from engineered acoustic polycarbonate panels that are lightweight, provide strong acoustic properties, and are also easily cleaned, the portable system offers an ideal solution for hygienic environments such as pharmacies and chemists.

PPA’s 360 acoustic folding portable room dividers enable in-store consultation booths to be quickly and easily created, as and when required. When not in use, the portable partition can be folded down and rolled away for easy storage.

Key features of PPA’s 360 acoustic portable room dividers include articulating hinges that allow full rotation of each panel to enable easy manipulation and infinite configurations including zig-zag, L-shape, curved, straight line or cube/booth shape; supplied fully assembled and ready to use avoiding costly, lengthy and often disruptive permanent building works and renovations; and sleek light grey finish to easily blend into the existing pharmacy store layout.
