Avante is a new walling system by PGH Bricks & Pavers that allows architects and builders to achieve a stylish brick look regardless of site or design limitations. The lightweight walling system can be used to get a realistic brick look on any residential or multi-residential project where traditional brick can’t be used due to space, weight or height restrictions.
Avante is an Australian-made, versatile, ventilated rainscreen façade system particularly suited to tight spaces where a brick finish is required to work in conjunction with traditional brickwork. Being secure and lightweight, the walling system is easy to install, allowing projects to be completed on time and within budget limitations. Application-wise, Avante minimises site mess and waste issues.
Available across the full PGH Bricks range, the façade system offers builders a broad selection of colours, styles and textures.
Avante consists of a lock-in rail system featuring brick facings that are fixed mechanically to a galvanised steel rail. These profile rails are mounted in horizontal rows onto a vertical support system and the brick facings are then ‘clipped’ into place. The clever ‘brick grip’ design reduces the potential for falling bricks, or movement in glue or mortar application.
Avante is extraordinarily versatile in application: The walling system can be used externally or internally, and is ideal for both new buildings as well as recladding across residential and multi-residential projects. Weighing approximately 50kg/m² compared to 200kg/m² for traditional brick, builders can install the brick finish system in their projects without needing load carrying steel or footers, or facing wall height limitations.
With the Avante façade system, bricks can still be a part of your materials palette without any worries about installation issues. Avante is supported by all wall systems including light commercial metal stud walls, insulated metal panels, curtain walls, prefabricated walls and classic wood stud walls.
Avante can also be used in conjunction with a wide range of substructures, including concrete, timber frame, structural steel, lightweight steel frames, masonry and structurally insulated panels.
The new Avante walling solution from PGH Bricks is also strong, durable and weather resistant, has a low maintenance requirement; and causes less waste and mess onsite. Rail is available for 76mm and 50mm high brick.
