Panasonic Australia announces the release of its enhanced app for iOS and Android tablet devices, designed to assist users with selecting the right air conditioner for their home or business.
Panasonic follows up the success of its original sizing wizard app, which had more than 30,000 downloads in less than three years with an enhanced app that makes it even easier to choose an air conditioner.
Panasonic’s highly popular Sizing Wizard app is an easy-to-use tool that makes the process of finding the right air conditioner for homes a breeze, reducing the need to arrange for an installer to inspect and assess the requirements. The new tablet version of the app has higher resolution for better visibility and a redesigned layout for enhanced user experience on large-screen tablets.
Shane Quinn, Product Marketing Manager - Air Conditioning, Panasonic Australia explains that the success of the original Sizing Wizard app among both consumers and retailers only confirms that the app is widely used to choose the correct air conditioning model.
He adds that the updated tool takes advantage of the latest technology to help Australians pick the right air conditioners.
Building on the success of Panasonic’s iPhone and Android smartphone app, the interactive tool allows consumers to enter details such as room size, insulation and direction of windows. The app will then suggest the air conditioner model best suited to their home or business and list key benefits and features as well as display a product image. The app will also provide full product specifications and help the user locate the nearest Panasonic stockist. By clicking a dealer on the list, consumers can view an address, phone number and a map.
The Sizing Wizard app is available now on iOS and Android smartphones and tablet devices. The new iOS app for tablets can be downloaded from the iTunes store, and the Android app can be downloaded via Google Play.
