QwickBuild deck framing from Outdure was selected for the $5 million refit of the iconic Hotel William (now Hyde Park House) including the rooftop bar and dining space, Slims. QwickBuild was specified for its structural properties, which allowed for low height.
Designed by Dangar Barin Smith, the Sydney hotel property went through remedial works in 2018 with QwickBuild deck frames along with a range of Outdure decking fasteners and QwickGrates installed over the rooftop waterproofing membrane on an area covering 202 square metres.
The rosewood decking was sourced by the client and the installation was executed by Kilmore Carpentry.
