Traditional French and Heritage Fixed Timber Louvres are made from solid Canadian Western Red Cedar.
These louvres have blades fixed at specific angles within a frame. Heritage Louvres have a bevelled blade profile, and are fixed at either 45 degrees, or 30 degrees off the vertical. Traditional French Louvres have 35mm bullnose flat blades fixed within a 30mm thick frame.
Construction of all our timber products are with mortice and tenon joints to ensure stability and strength of products.
These louvres are best painted on site to match other feature timber work.
OpenShutters design and installation teams work closely with architects, designers, builders and owners to source suitable hardware for the location and operation of the louvres.
