Hydroflor, an epoxy resin based flooring from Nuplex Construction Products was applied to the lift foyers of a building, adjacent to the multilevel car parking on eight levels.
The resin floors were installed at the Aurora Towers in Brisbane during off-hours when use of the lifts was less frequent. Access to a lift on each level was maintained so that entry to the parking levels was not restricted.
Hydroflor epoxy resin flooring was chosen for advantages including decorative finish, quick installation and absence of solvents in the coating system that eliminated any potential nuisance.
Following the installation of the Hydroflor epoxy resin flooring, the building now has an attractive transition zone between the car parking levels and the lifts to the tenancies.
The flooring in Silhouette Coarse Flakes was installed by Seamless Flooring Australia over a 250m² area.
