The client involved in the construction of an education facility in South Perth chose to utilise the Novaproducts product range including ceramic and stainless steel tactile indicators, entrance matting and stair nosing.
The ceramic tactile indicators were placed at the exterior pedestrian access areas of the building. Novatred entrance matting was then used in the interior entrances to the facility covering a distance of more than 6 footsteps in the walking direction. Texbase stainless steel tactile indicators specially designed for carpet applications were used and interior stairs edged with CD1 Slimline stair nosing.
In another project, an architectural company designed a shopping centre at Ellenbrook, Western Australia, and took advantage of the Unique Printed Graphic Panel product from Novaplas. After its success on Stage 2 of the project the client requested for it to be used on the original stage 1 of the project. Novatred entrance matting was then used in the interior entrances / air locks to the facility. The matting covered a distance of more than 6 footsteps in the walking direction.
