A visually appealing durlum metal ceiling was installed at the Swiss Re Bengaluru, India office during a renovation completed in August 2018.
Swiss Re has been operating in the Indian city of Bengaluru for more than two decades. The Bengaluru subsidiary is the third largest office of the Swiss reinsurance company worldwide, as well as one of its three global Business Solutions Centres, with more than 1000 employees.
Designed by DSP Design Associates Pvt. Ltd., the renovation project included the selection of a design ceiling from the LOOP collection by durlum for the stylish encounter spaces created by Swiss Re for their employees and customers in the spacious foyer and leisure areas of the office.
A metal ceiling with a seamless effect, LOOP has been installed in different areas of the office such as the reception, cafeteria and seating corners, inviting people to exchange views in a relaxed setting. Openness and transparency – values held dear by the Swiss Re group – are reflected in the interior and ceiling design of the Bengaluru office.
The striking LOOP design ceiling is characterised by its round apertures, harmoniously blending into its interior setting to create a modern and pleasant environment.
The LOOP metal ceiling consists of 2mm thick aluminium modules measuring 966 x 1115 mm, powdercoated in silver, and covering an area of 1420 square metres.
