Rectangular metal panels from durlum were specified for the ceiling at more than 150 branches of Polish universal bank Alior Bank.

Several branches of the Alior Bank are being either refurbished or newly constructed with the materials palette chosen for aesthetics and durability. The head office of the Alior Bank was the first to be completed in December 2019, with durlum supplying their S4 rectangular metal panels for the ceiling.

These rectangular metal panels have been installed on the ceiling right from the main foyer, throughout the corridors and waiting areas as well as the segregated meeting corners. The minimalist elegance and durability of these metal panels blend seamlessly into the open room concept.

The ceiling panels are powder-coated in white and lined with fleece to improve acoustics. The metal panels are individually hook-mounted in the system and can be easily removed without any tools.

Roughly 25,000m² of classic metal ceiling are being gradually installed in more than 150 bank branches, as part of the network-wide renovation project designed by Robert Majkut Design for Alior Bank.

durlum’s S4 rectangular metal panels comprise of 0.6mm thick galvanised sheet steel, measure 1200 x 600mm (LxW), and are powder-coated in RAL 9016, perforated in L6, and backed with fleece (240m²).
