The new Novartis head office centrally located in the booming business hub of Rueil-Malmaison near Paris accommodates about 5000 employees in an optimum working environment.

Designed by Quadri Fiore Architecture with Jim Clemes Associates, the multi-storeyed head office of the global pharmaceutical giant – completed in May 2019 – reflects aesthetic and ecological considerations in equal measure.

The durlum ceiling aligns perfectly with Novartis head office’s design concepts. durlum’s TICELL-N metal open-cell ceiling has been installed in the entrance, lounge, workspace, cafeteria and company restaurant, creating a unique and fascinating visual effect across diverse areas.

The braided appearance of the single-blade grid pattern creates a modern and completely open atmosphere in the different spaces within this building. The ratio of cell dimension to cell height enables light to permeate the interior space to optimum effect, greatly enhancing the airy and light character of this newly constructed building.

TICELL-N metal open-cell ceiling featuring a white strip-painted finish was installed to cover an area of 4300 square metres.
