Mulford Plastics is undergoing a new look, courtesy of its owners, Mulford International, who also own Mulford Holdings, Mulford Engineering Plastics and Alsynite Roofing Products. The company is active throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Lydia Swan, Marketing Manager said, "With an expanding business through acquisitions, entry into new countries with the intention to present the company to IPO by 2009, we needed to create a global image that is consistent across all businesses and regions.
"Whilst designing our logo we were very conscious that Mulford International will continue to grow and expand into different markets. Therefore, the company needed a symbolic icon that the global market would associate with the leading plastics solution provider.
"One of the key requirements was for all of our businesses to approach our customers with a consistent attitude, professionalism and dedication. Our belief was that no matter which Mulford business you dealt with it should look and feel the same.
"We decided to do this with the use of a Tag Line as part of our logo to let our existing and new customer know what we will do for them…..……..Delivering Solutions. The tagline was something the whole Asia Pacific team has worked on together. We started the process by understanding what we were passionate about, what we want for customers and what drives us.
As Arnold Mouw Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand stated “What was really interesting , no matter which country, sales team, finance team or warehouse team we spoke to all spoke a similar language.”
“It was a consensus that we all value our customers and want to provide innovative ideas and products.
"On December 19, 2007 the senior leaders of each country and business voted for our new logo. We all believe this logo will show our commitment to our businesses, customers and it is a logo that all at Mulford International Employees will be proud of.
