The Horizon collection by Monier Roofing was selected by the developers
for the homes being built at The Grange Lifestyle Village in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
The Grange Lifestyle Village is a new large-scale residential
development consisting of 180 homes for over 55s. Incorporating several lifestyle
features for its residents, the development makes use of the very latest in
building technology and ideas.
Commencing building in 2010, developers Nash Bros Builders of Wagga
Wagga turned to local bricks and roofing specialists Wagga Bricks & Roofing
when it came to selecting the roofing for the 180 homes. Seeking a contemporary
California bungalow style aesthetic for the houses, Nash Bros consulted with
Wagga Bricks & Roofing and decided on the Monier Horizon profile because of
its sleek, flat, ‘shingle like’ look.
Roof tiles in the Horizon collection combine a contemporary profile with
a timeless appearance. The generous palette of 14 inspirational colours also
allowed homeowners at The Grange to select their roofing in preferred hues.
Nash Bros won the 2014 Department of Social Services National Lifestyle
Housing for Seniors Award – Purpose Built Detached Dwelling at the prestigious
National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards organised by Master
Builders Australia each year to acknowledge excellence in the building and
construction industry.
The award recognises the building industry's
significant role in developing innovative housing options for older
Australians.
