Horizon roof tiles from Monier Roofing were specified for The Grange Lifestyle Village, a major residential development for over 55s in Wagga Wagga, NSW. The tiles were selected by the developers Nash Bros Builders for their sleek, flat, shingle-like appearance.
The Grange Lifestyle Village offers 180 homes for the over-55 segment, incorporating many wonderful lifestyle features for its residents.
For the roofing, Nash Bros turned to local bricks and roofing specialists, Wagga Bricks & Roofing. The developers sought a contemporary California bungalow style look for the houses and decided on the Monier Horizon profile. Combining a contemporary as well as timeless appearance, the Horizon is available in a palette of 14 inspirational colours, with homeowners at The Grange allowed to select their preferred shade at the time of purchase.
The quality development at The Grange Lifestyle Village resulted in Nash Bros winning the 2014 Department of Social Services National Lifestyle Housing for Seniors Award – Purpose Built Detached Dwelling at the prestigious National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards organised by Master Builders Australia. This award recognises the building industry's significant role in developing innovative housing options for older Australians.
