Modular Wall Systems  installed a modular noise attenuation wall at Waverley Bus Depot in Bondi Junction for its client, the Department of Commerce.

The sound barrier wall was installed to provide a shield for local residents from shunting noise as well as offer a visual barrier from the bus depot. In order to minimise disruption to the bus depot and residents, the modular wall had to be erected within a short timeframe.

The traditional modular wall installed measures 2.4 metres high and 165 metres long and was mounted on top of an existing concrete wall.

These walls not only provide acoustic protection for the residents, they also provide privacy and security. They also have the attractive look of a domestic boundary wall, just higher.

More information on the range of acoustic and boundary modular walls is available from Modular Wall Systems.
