Mclean Automation has introduced a suite of long range radio control handsets for the remote actuation of architectural assets such as grounds lighting or water features on large acreage situations.

With radio ranges to 2km, the new handpieces extend the scope of the existing 300m range product to areas of up to 12 square km, making the systems suitable for wide area applications such as the remote control of beach, headland or golf course illumination.

The new Australian-made systems are all radio licence exempt in Australia & the USA and are available in one way or two way communication.

For applications such as grounds watering, requiring the management of multiple remote plants, the company has also developed Watermation, a PC based irrigation system able to wirelessly control up to 350 remote irrigation valves.
