Managing Director Gary Turner has moved on after four years with MakMax Australia and will be pursuing personal business opportunities outside of the industry of tensile membranes. MakMax wish him well in his future endeavors and know he will be missed.

MakMax Australia is pleased to announce that Bernie Neylan will replace Gary as Managing Director. Bernie has been Financial Controller with MakMax for four years and more recently as Commercial Manager. Bernie has a background in finance and previously acted as CFO at both Shaftston College and Darling Downs Foods. Bernie holds a Bachelor of Business, and MBA and is also a CPA.

The future for MakMax looks bright with buoyant sales throughout the economic crisis. In addition to a number of stadium projects being bid on worldwide, a general upturn in sales has been felt across the business in recent months.

With a poignant part of 2009 being the completion of Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth South Africa and major projects in India including Jawaharlal Nehru and Ranchi Stadiums both scheduled for completion early in 2010, Bernie and the MakMax team is looking forward to the busy year ahead.
