Magnetic Automation Pty Ltd installed an offset bi-parting MTG gate for a bus terminus yard. The installation faced certain constraints from the restricted run-off space on one side.

Magnetic designed the bi-parting gate in an offset design. The gate leaf spans measure 9 metres and 6 metres to allow buses to swing into the yard from a tight access road. Magnetic recommended the bi-parting system instead of a single large gate to allow ease of access as well as control access where there was restricted gate travel.

Magnetic’s bi-parting gates are constructed from fully welded Australian-made steel and hot dipped galvanised for total protection and maximum lifespan. Two motors controlling the track gates allow the speeds to be varied based on the duty cycle of the gates.
