Magnetic Automation Pty Ltd installed two STG heavy-duty cantilever gates and an MPT pedestrian turnstile to control access of both vehicles and employees at a sustainable resource industry facility.
The ongoing expansion works at the oil and gas plant necessitated the implementation of extra security measures for vehicles entering and exiting the site as well as to control the movement of employees. The products had to meet high safety and security standards.
Magnetic’s STG heavy-duty cantilever gates do not require ground tracks or overhead rails and feature an individually locked outer housing as well as an internal electrical enclosure for optimum security.
Magnetic also supplied a traffic light system with the gates to notify vehicles whether it was safe to proceed.
Magnetic worked with site operators to meet vigorous documentation requirements as well as a design engineer to meet stringent product requirements for the site. This ensured Magnetic could manufacture the gates to precise specifications.
