Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation (TIDC) has appointed Bovis Lend Lease as Independent Environment Management Representative for a number of the NSW Rail Clearways projects.

This is the sixth specific environmental planning and management role Bovis Lend Lease will undertake for TIDC.

The Bovis Lend Lease team will provide environment management representative services for about $300 million of infrastructure work.

Environmental planning and management services have been a key component of all work undertaken with TIDC, which is a state-owned corporation that develops major transport infrastructure projects for the NSW Government.

Bovis Lend Lease’s Transport business unit is working with Lend Lease design’s Strategic Environmental Services team to provide independent expert advice on project development approval, environment management (including heritage and contaminated land) and compliance-related matters during design and construction of some of the NSW Rail Clearways projects.

Bovis Lend Lease has been providing construction and consulting services to TIDC for the past six years. This has included procurement, environmental planning and approval for the Parramatta Rail Link; contract management for two of the main contracts for the $2 billion Epping-to-Chatswood Rail Line project; and managing contractor for the redevelopment of the Parramatta Rail Station as part of the Parramatta Transport Interchange.
