Operators of Brisbane Central Train Station, Queensland Railway recently had a requirement for a scissor lift table that was capable of unloading a variety of truck types and take rubbish bins from the upper dock level to ground level.
Central railway station’s loading dock is on a suspended slab, so a conventional scissor table in a pit was not a practical option. Leda Security Products designed a scissor lift table with a lowered height of just 50mm. This scissor table has a capacity of 2000kg and table size of 2300mm x 3000mm.
A new range of 85mm lowered height scissor lift tables that have a capacity of 4000kg and include a hydraulic loadlip and personnel barrier have also been developed. These scissor tables are designed to service most standard trucks and have the advantage of not requiring a pit.
