The latest range of decors from Laminex is not only winning the appreciation of designers but also receiving accolades at international design award shows.
Laminex Innovations continues to lead design inspiration with nine new decors that both reflect current international trends and are adorned with global award credentials. The Innovations range of decorative laminates features a wide choice of colours, textures and patterns, suitable for various applications.
The Plex Collection, which includes six new decors, offers design professionals the colour and character of real metals, alongside the practical, flexible properties of laminates. The Plex Collection was celebrated for its expertise and creativity at the internationally acclaimed 2013 Red Dot awards in the product design category.
The Plex Collection of decorative laminates includes Plex Umbra, Plex Argent and Plex Graphite all featuring varying levels of grey embossed hues; Plex Copper and Plex Copper DarkTone with an embossed bronze look; and the classic-look Plex White.
The Laminex Innovations range also includes the Lounge Pearl, a leather-look laminate that offers easier care and is more robust than real leather. The Lounge Pearl laminate won global recognition at the Interior Innovation Awards, held at imm cologne in January 2014.
Volcano Natural and Volcano Gunmetal complete the Laminex Innovations range. Incorporating a silvery, molten look, these decorative laminates are ideal for fitouts aiming for an industrial feel.
Laminex Marketing Manager, Joanna Baker is confident the new decors will be as popular with design professionals as the rest of the Innovations range.
