The Laminex Group  presents the latest decors from Formica that reflect one of the latest interior design trends to bring a fashionable, glossy look to commercial and residential interiors.

Available in a choice of nine new options, the new decors include Formica gloss panels and Formica vinyl doors. Formica, the decorative surfaces manufacturer and distributor expects the gloss LPM (Low Pressure Melamine) category to grow by 25% over the next five years.

The new range of decors can be used as a cost effective solution to create stylish drawers, doors and various vertical kitchen surfaces.

Design Centre Manager Lorraine Brigdale explains that the updated Formica panels and vinyl doors are inspired by colours, textures and prints making waves in international design, allowing designers, specifiers and architects to create contemporary, budget-friendly looks for their clients.

The availability of earthy tones in the new Formica gloss panels and Formica vinyl doors ranges including Gentle Beige, Mulga and Streetlight will help design professionals embrace the trend for a subdued palette.

Likewise, the woodgrains options such as Hotham Oak, Idyllic, Urban Wood, Silver Strata and Snow Elm make it easy to encapsulate natural beauty in kitchen spaces.

Each of the colours within the Formica gloss panels range has matching gloss ABS edging and can be easily colour coordinated with the Formica vinyl doors range as well as the wider Formica Colour Range.

In addition to making an emphatic style statement, Formica gloss panels and Formica vinyl doors are also moisture-resistant, easy to clean and backed by a 7-year limited warranty to ensure the good looks are preserved season after season.

An eco-friendly surface solution can be achieved with Formica gloss panels in E0, which contains only half the recommended levels of formaldehyde suggested by various authorities.

Formica vinyl doors are available in gloss as well as velvet or pearl finish.
