Konecranes has recently moved its New Zealand branch to a new premise in Auckland so as to better service the requirements of its expanding customer base throughout New Zealand. Backed by the resources of the world’s largest crane service organisation and with 373,000 cranes under service contracts internationally, Konecranes’ New Zealand branch is now based at 6D Henderson Place, Penrose, Auckland 1061 in a convenient industrial location in the city.  

Business Development Manager of KoneCranes, James McAllister, says the company had outgrown its old accommodation; “We have moved to be more central to the industrial areas, to be more accessible to our customers, and at the same time we were able to upgrade into a more modern premises."

“Currently we have over 1500 cranes under maintenance agreement, with that figure continuing to grow.

“We have a great core team on the ground here, backed by global resources. With the New Zealand employee count growing, we are in a better position to service the New Zealand crane market.   "

Mr McAllister stated that he is expecting continual growth for the New Zealand branch.

The Australasian National Sales and Marketing Manager Warren Ashton stated that the expanded Auckland branch would offer further crane manufacturing, safety and service innovations and opportunities for New Zealand.
