Kingspan Insulation has achieved CodeMark certification for its iconic Kooltherm K17 and K18 insulated plasterboard products.
Granted to building products in recognition of innovation, quality and compliance with all relevant building codes and standards, the CodeMark certification is an independent endorsement of Kingspan Insulation’s endeavour to deliver high-quality insulation products to Australian markets. The K17 and K18 ranges are the latest members of the Kooltherm family of insulation products to achieve this accolade.
The certification also enables builders, architects and engineers to specify Kooltherm insulated plasterboard products with complete confidence that the products will attain their stated performance ratings, allowing them to meet building efficiency design targets.
According to Keith Anderson, Kingspan Insulation’s Technical Manager, the Kooltherm K17 and K18 insulated plasterboards have been designed to meet the ‘real world’ requirements of the building community.
A key objective for Kingspan Insulation is to offer products that will behave as rated with certainty and credibility. The CodeMark certification confirms that the Kooltherm K17 and K18 products have performed to the satisfaction of the Australian Building Codes Board.
