High performance seals from Kilargo were installed at Shell’s office in
Singapore to meet acoustic control objectives.
Located in the one-north precinct at Buona Vista, the Metropolis in
Singapore provides Grade-A office accommodation with its two towers offering
more than one million square feet of rental space.
In Singapore since 1891, and one of Singapore’s largest foreign
investors, Shell needed to move to larger office space necessitated by their
business expansion. Shell became one of the key anchored tenants at Metropolis
Tower One.
High performance seals were selected to assist with the acoustic
requirements in the managers’ rooms, meeting and board rooms as well as server
and M&E rooms.
Kilargo seals used for the project included IS1515 perimeter seals; IS7090si
perimeter seals; and IS8520si automatic door bottom seals.
