Equipment hire company, Kennards Hire supplied a fleet of 2-tonne and 6-tonne tippers to help with the huge clean-up after the recent Queensland floods.
Hundreds of trucks from numerous sources moved the mounds of debris, which only hours earlier had been residents’ prized possessions and the much-needed tools of business.
The advantage of hiring 2-tonne tippers is that they can be driven with a standard car licence.
Brisbane City Works crews used several of the Kennards’ hire vehicles.
Kennards Hire mobilised equipment from its hire centres around Australia to help after the floods and cyclone Yasi, which followed a few weeks later.
