A new laser level has been added to the range of hire equipment available from Kennards Hire . Laser levels can be used for horizontal and vertical applications and is a great all-rounder, covering most building site uses including concreting, ceilings, roofs, verticals and slopes.

Within its network of more than 100 hire centres, Kennards says many branches are already carrying this model, and it will progressively replace other types at the remaining outlets.

Chris Portelli of Renowned Concreting, hired one of the laser levels from Kennards Girraween after his own broke down.

“It’s tremendous being able to hire top quality equipment like this when you have a problem with your own gear,” he said.

“I was just setting out for a concrete slab, which is a fairly simple job, but it has a lot of features which enable it to do a lot harder things than that.”

These self levelling laser levels have a fast set-up time of less than five seconds and can be used with the supplied tripod or just as easily set up on a brick wall or similar base.

Laser levels allow a line of focussed laser to be drawn on any surface, to any length, which stays until the target plate is released. The laser levellers can be operated with a remote control over a 100m range.

Kennards’ other equipment for measuring and testing, includes pipe laser levels, dumpy levels, laser measuring devices and multi-gas monitors.
