Kennards Hire introduces a range of trailer-mounted attenuators to their traffic control equipment at their network of branches across Australia.
The trailer-mounted attenuators are designed to offer the same mobile work zone protection as truck-mounted units in the Kennards’ fleet, while also providing hirers with more flexibility.
Trailer-mounted attenuators absorb the impact of vehicles travelling at up to 100km/h while also cushioning the impact for drivers of errant vehicles.
Weighing 580kg, the trailer unit measures 7.2m L x 2.35m W and attaches to host vehicles with a standard Pintle hook as well as a 7-pin electrical connector.
