Kennards Hire has launched the innovative rumble grids, designed for removing mud and debris from tyres and underbodies of vehicles.
Both heavy duty and portable, these rumble grids are 4m wide, 2m long, 210mm high, with a load rating of 14 tonne per wheel axle at 10km/h. For additional ease of manoeuvrability onsite, they are fitted with lifting hooks.
By positioning two units side by side, operators enable one and a half wheel rotations of a truck passing over them.
Rumble grids are currently only available from Kennards Hire Traffic at Brooklyn in Victoria, but they are set to be progressively introduced in other states.
