Kennards Lift & Shift , which specialises in the hire of rigging and materials handling equipment has moved its Sydney operation to larger premises in a more central location.

The new hire centre is at 22 Fariola Street, Silverwater. Phone, fax and email details remain unchanged.

Situated in a factory complex near the M4 motorway, the new outlet is quicker and easier for customers to access in addition to better parking facilities.

The larger building allows more equipment to be stored and provided to customers, either through pick-up or delivery, more quickly and efficiently.

Kennards Lift & Shift managing director Allen Besseling said the business outgrew the Rydalmere site from which it operated for the past seven years.

“We have added so many new types of equipment since then it got to the point where we had equipment spread between three buildings,” he said.

“Now, it is all under one roof, which makes for a much more efficient operation.”

Kennards Lift & Shift has also recently opened a new branch in Brisbane at 59 Balham Road, Rocklea.

Other outlets are in Wollongong in NSW, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Kennards Lift & Shift has published a new, glove box size edition of its catalogue detailing the vast range of equipment available for hire.

Items added in recent times include crawler cranes, hydraulic torque tools, cable pullers, cable crimpers and cutters, Electro drive tugs, telehandlers, counter-weighted gantries, facade lifters as well as 12V glass lifters.

A more extensive range of pneumatic chain hoists, air winches and crane rig release systems is also available.
