Commercial tiling company, Toro Tiling, recently hired a large concrete grout and screed mixer pump from Kennards Concrete Care to help cut a project time from six days to a weekend.

Toro Tooling hired the concrete mixer pump to lay a 600 sq m screed bed during a major upgrading of Audi Alto’s showroom at Pennant Hills in Sydney.

The mixer pump prepared the concrete-sand mix outside the building and the mixture was pumped up to 40 metres to where it was discharged from the hose.

Karl Walther, Toro Tiling commercial director explained, “We had only a weekend to mix and lay 35 tonne of screed. If we were doing it manually or using a small mixer it would probably have taken six days.”

Kennards Concrete Care has 16 different types of grout and screed mixer pumps throughout the branch network.

The trailer-mounted Putzmeister Mixokret M760 mixer pump used by Toro Tiling is the most powerful in the Kennards Concrete Care range, and is particularly good for jobs requiring long lengths of line.

The concrete grout and screed mixer pump can produce up to 4sq m an hour, and has a horizontal delivery reach of about 200m and vertical reach of about 50 storeys.

It is ideal for tough, continuous work under the most difficult conditions as well as for the “every day” job.
