A new mini crusher available for hire from Kennards Concrete Care can be used to break up building waste on site for re-use as aggregate.

The Kennards mini crusher helps recycle concrete, stone, bricks, blocks and other materials into aggregate that can be used behind retaining walls thanks to its drainage capabilities, and also as a sediment control mechanism when entering and leaving building sites. The track-mounted machine is small enough to fit through doorways and down tight passageways.

On-site recycling reduces the cost of skip hire, landfill charges, haulage and manpower, saves on space and avoids the need to purchase new aggregates. The recycling of waste materials on site also adds to the environmental credentials of the builder.

Key features of Kennards mini crushers:

  • Hydraulically-powered, adjustable jaws crush waste in a selectable 10mm - 70mm size range
  • Jaw aperture is 400mm x 170mm
  • Output depends on jaw setting, input material and loading method
  • Up to six tonnes an hour output can be achieved
Kennards Concrete Care operates two equipment hire centres in both Sydney and Melbourne, as well as outlets in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
