Leading Australian distributor of professional sound, lighting and staging systems, Jands announces the release of the Stage CL console ‘Made for LEDs’ at the PLASA recently.

Designed specifically for LED lighting control, the new Jands Stage CL console provides 12 direct fixture control channels, powerful yet simple recording function and a touch screen interface in a compact and elegant chassis that can be carried in one hand.

CEO Paul Mulholland explains that LED fixtures are increasingly being used as a cost-effective and flexible lighting solution. The absence of a suitable console for LED fixtures that would give direct control of their colour and intensity led to the development of the Stage CL system.

Designed with smaller venues and operators in mind, the Stage CL is ideal for rental applications, audio-visual suppliers, clubs, karaoke bars, retail spaces and houses of worship.

Packed with features for users to get the most out of their LED lights, the Stage CL console is designed for simple operation enabling even a novice to operate comfortably. Mulholland says that the new console addresses the unique needs of venues that do not have a dedicated lighting operator by enabling people with little or no knowledge of lighting to still create an impressive visual impact.

According to Mulholland, the Stage CL represents a new level of sophistication for smaller venues and low-cost lighting applications, enabling people who use LED fixtures to see its potential immediately.

Key features of Stage CL lighting consoles:

  • 12 direct fixture control channels
  • Each channel has a Saturation encoder and a Hue encoder that can be adjusted to set the colour required
  • Mimic LED on the channel shows the colour being created when the dials are turned
  • Any number of channels can be grouped together and managed with one set of controls, saving time
  • Simple ‘one-press’ recording system
