Stagecraft, an entertainment engineering company, was chosen as the theatre equipment contractor for the Albany Entertainment Centre project. Jands were chosen as the ideal solution for the Albany Entertainment Centre’s stage lighting kit.

The Albany Entertainment Centre, located at the shores of Princess Royal Harbour, is the most ambitious regional venue to be built in Western Australia. The centre offers a 600 seat orthodox format theatre and a multi-functional studio with two large rooms dividable by an operable wall.

Stagecraft was given the task to undertake the comprehensive design, supply and installation of theatre equipment for the regional arts and conference venue.

Many of Jands products met the specifications and needs of the centre’s lighting fixtures. These lighting products included the ten Vari*Lite VL1000, and the ETC Ion for the main room

Stagecraft also utilised Jands field plates, wall and stage boxes, which provided to be particularly handy in organising the multitude of audio, video and comms systems. Stagecraft had also installed the Jands Ezicom intercom systems for both venues of the Albany Entertainment Centre.
