Interpon Powder Coatings introduces Interpon Cool Chemistry, a unique heat reflective range of powder coatings that reflects infrared light, lowering metal substrate temperatures, heat retention and cooling costs.

Cool Chemistry heat reflective powder coatings are suitable for use on aluminium or steel substrates.

Designed to lower energy costs associated with electronic cooling or fan systems, Cool Chemistry is particularly suited to aluminium wall cladding, electrical switchboxes and any application that would benefit from cool surfaces such as playground equipment and fencing.

Lab tests within a model enclosure reveal that Cool Chemistry powder coatings can create a 20ºC drop in substrate surface temperature, resulting in a 10ºC reduction in internal temperatures when compared to standard powder coatings.

Cool Chemistry powder coatings are available in three application ranges including Interpon D1000 residential powder coatings for aluminium, Interpon D1000 Excel for steel and Interpon TC. Cool Chemistry performs best on dark colours but is available in a near endless colour range to suit any project.

The cutting edge technology of Cool Chemistry powder coatings reduces substrate temperatures and lowers energy consumption.

Interpon Powder Coatings is a brand of AkzoNobel, the world’s leading manufacturer of paints and coatings.
