A report on the Australian student accommodation recently released by property company Knight Frank alludes to the industry sector continuing to flourish. Highlighted in a four-page report, which includes statistics from projects delivered by Interpod partners Campus Living Villages, is the astronomical increase in the number of students in Australia over the past 15 years – now surpassing 1 million.
“There are 4,519 purpose built bed spaces becoming operational during the 2016 academic year, bringing the current total to 92,070 purpose built student accommodation (PBSA) beds operational in Australia, with the potential for a further 28,517 beds to be developed during 2017, 2018 and 2019.”
With this dramatic increase in the number of students in mind, the need for the efficient delivery of quality projects in the sector is more essential than ever.
With over 5,000 student accommodation bathrooms delivered already and another 5,000 confirmed for future production in this space alone, Interpod Offsite has undoubtedly established themselves as experts when providing end-to-end bathroom solutions in the student accommodation sector.
