Innowood Australia Pty Ltd designed and installed InnoClad and InnoScreen awning and sun shading systems for the Darling Harbour Wildlife World Building in Sydney.

Designed by architects Misho + Associates in association with Rihs Architects, and executed by Lucas Stuart Group, the project used InnoScreen 50x50 and Façade Screen 220x75 as well as InnoClad 280x40 and 220x50 profiles with systems.

The overview of the Wildlife World complex captures the innovative curved roof design and the strong modulated Innowood facade panels. The weathered Innowood facade panels and the eave soffit profiles bring to mind the history of Sydney’s old maritime timber wharves.

The old Sydney timber wharves are ventilated throughout by clever use of weather shielding louvres, reflected here in the specially designed and manufactured Innowood reconstituted wood-base composite profiles.
