Reconstituted wood-base square batten profiles and composite cladding from Innowood Australia Pty Ltd were used for the eave and ceiling soffits in the refurbishment of the Dee Why Markets.

Designed by architects Rice Daubney Group and executed by FDC Construction, the refurbishment project features transversely fixed Innowood cladding along the street awning punctuated by black-edged semi-recessed circular downlighting, enhancing the natural timber tones of Innowood.

Innowood’s concealed fixed square batten ceiling is seen in the foreground, with horizontally laid cladding fixed to the walls. The transversely fixed Innowood cladding accentuates its timber tones.

Innowood products used in the refurbishment included InnoCeil System, InnoClad System and InnoScreen System.
