Ingal Civil Products  supply Ingal bridge barriers. A bridge barrier is a longitudinal structure installed to prevent an errant vehicle from running off the edge of a bridge or culvert. While this is similar to the function of a roadside barrier, a bridge barrier is normally designed to have virtually no deflection upon impact. Bridge barriers are generally constructed from metal posts or railings, concrete safety shape or a combination of both.

Typically, metal safety barriers are used for the construction of low, regular and performance level barriers. The performance levels, which are described in AS5100.1 are as follows;

Low Performance Level – NCHRP 350 Test Level 2

Regular performance Level – NCHRP 350 Test Level 4

Medium Performance Level – NCHRP 350 Test Level 5

Ingal Bridge Barriers are manufactured from BlueScope Steel, ensuring a compliance with state road authority specifications. Ingal Bridge Barriers are internally galvanized, ensuring a high level of quality control throughout the entire manufacturing process.
