Kingspan Insulated Panels launched two new insulated panel products at DesignBUILD 2013.

According to Kevin Kelly, managing director Australia and South East Asia, Kingspan Insulated Panels, the launch of these new solutions allows Kingspan to provide a more holistic building envelope solution, enabling contractors, architects and developers to create functional and aesthetically impactful buildings that are energy efficient, safe, cost-effective and sustainable.

The two new insulation panels, BENCHMARK Evolution and K-Dek are set to further cement the company’s position as a global leader in the design and manufacture of sustainable insulated roof, architectural wall and controlled environment panel systems.

The Kingspan PowerPanel, a fully integrated photovoltaic energy solution for commercial rooftops, which will be released later this year, is being showcased at the DesignBUILD providing visitors an exclusive opportunity to be informed about its benefits.

Kingspan PowerPanel has also been nominated as a finalist at DesignBUILD’s prestigious Innovation Alley, a showcase of the best new products in the industry.

BENCHMARK Evolution is the first insulation panel within Kingspan’s BENCHMARK range to be introduced in Australia. Combining leading-edge design with excellent thermal performance, BENCHMARK Evolution creates stunning architectural facades and roofs while remaining competitive in cost, energy performance, and ease of installation.

K-Dek is a roof-deck system boasting high thermal performance through the combination of insulated panel technology and a single ply membrane solution. Suitable for flat and low pitched roofs, K-Dek is available for purchase in Australia now.

Kingspan’s innovations and products also include:

  • Height Safety: Safepro2, Saferidge and Safetraxx are effective and unobtrusive personal fall protection solutions for working at height. Suitable for new build, refurbishment and retrofit roofs, these systems can be quickly and efficiently installed, and eliminate the need to access the underside of a roof.
  • Daylight: The latest addition to Kingspan’s daylight solutions, Kingspan Polycarb Rooflight delivers optimum balance between energy efficiency requirements and the use of natural and artificial lighting.
  • Fabrications: Manufactured under factory controlled conditions to ensure trouble-free fitting on-site, new products include flashings, top hats, insulated pre-formed corners, insulated box gutters, external eaves gutters and other rainwater components.
The Kingspan PowerPanel, BENCHMARK Evolution and K-Dek are on display at Kingspan’s exhibition stand at DesignBUILD 2013, being held in Sydney between 8 and 10 May 2013.
