Cosentino has opened new local facilities in Adelaide to mark their expansion into the South Australian market.

A world leader in the production and distribution of quartz, natural stone and engineered surfaces for architecture and design, Cosentino in Adelaide is the first of many moves this year to help the company achieve their business goals.

Beginning 1 March, Cosentino’s Adelaide team will offer customer service and marketing and sales support for their portfolio of brands including Dekton and Silestone by Cosentino. The move will also see the business’ three-year partnership with Galvin Hardware evolve to provide distribution and logistics services.

The Adelaide team will be led by Ben Pinfield who joins Cosentino as General Manager for South Australia. Ben was previously based in the UK where he was responsible for business development at DuPont and more recently Porcelanosa, and brings to his new role, a vast knowledge of the industry from fabrication to design. He will be supported by Craig Addams as Commercial Project Sales Manager who joins from Galvin where he previously worked as a sales representative. The team in South Australia will be further supported by Cosentino’s teams in Sydney and Melbourne.

Gary Isherwood, Area Director for Cosentino Australia, explained that they’ve had a presence in South Australia for the last three years in partnership with Will Galvin and his team. Thanking Galvin Hardware for all of their hard work, he added that they looked forward to continuing to work with the team in the next phase of Cosentino’s growth.

Cosentino's extensive range of products includes Dekton, an ultra-compact surface with almost limitless applications, and Silestone by Cosentino, available in more than 60 colours and three textural options of matte, suede and volcanic.

This year also marks Cosentino’s fifth year of operations in Australia where the business continues to build momentum within the local market. In recent years, Cosentino has expanded operations across Australia’s eastern seaboard, setting up warehouses and showrooms in NSW, Victoria and Queensland as well as local operations in Tasmania.
