    Briggs & Stratton releases Elite Series portable generators to power the toughest of jobs

    Briggs & Stratton has introduced the new Elite Series generator range to address the demand for efficient portable power generation.

    Drawing upon its 100-year legacy of reliability and expertise in the engine industry, Briggs & Stratton has developed the Elite Series generator range to provide a safe, reliable and sturdy solution to the challenge of remote location power access. Available in 3500/3000, 6250/5300 and 9500/7000 watt options, Briggs & Stratton’s highly versatile generators are ideal for farmers, light trade and domestic applications.

    Briggs & Stratton Business Development Manager, Grant Buck believes the new Elite Series is indispensable for any situation where a high performance, portable power source is required.

    Powered by a Briggs & Stratton OHV engine, Elite Series generators can operate different pieces of equipment such as air compressors, angle grinders, circular saws, drills, concrete mixers, planers, concrete vibrators, air conditioners, submersible pumps and orbital sanders.

    Key features and benefits of Briggs & Stratton Elite Series portable generators include simple starting and operation with great fuel efficiency; flexibility to operate in all terrains and environments; single-piece tube frame construction for stronger build and longevity; frame insulating 45-degree anti-vibration engine mounts; assured portability via solid tyre wheels and foldaway handle; two IP44 rated sockets (3500/3000 & 6250/5300 watt models) and two IP66 rated outlet sockets (9500/7000 model only); angled control panel for easy access; ‘safety-switch’ protection to the 240v outlets (combined RCD & CB); serviceable ‘spark-arrestor’ type exhaust silencer fitted to all models; and 2-year limited warranty.

    Briggs & Stratton Elite Series

    The 3500/3000 watt Elite Series generator is ideal for powering DIY projects around the house and features a Briggs & Stratton 1150 Series OHV engine, Super Lo-Tone muffler, pull start, and up to eight hours of run time (at 50% load).

    The 6250/5300 watt Elite Series features a Briggs & Stratton 2100 Series OHV engine, pull start, Super Lo-Tone muffler, and up to 13 hours of run time (at 50% load). This model also includes the StatStation Digital Display, which provides everything the user needs to know at the touch of a button.

    The 9500/7000 watt Elite Series, the most powerful portable generator in the line-up, features a Briggs & Stratton 2100 Series OHV engine, both key and pull start options, Super Lo-Tone Muffler, StatStation and up to nine hours of run time (at 50% load).
