HVG secures distribution rights for Wilsonart high pressure laminates

    HVG Decorative Building Products

HVG Decorative Building Products  has secured the distribution rights in Australia for Wilsonart’s range of high pressure laminates.

Texas-based manufacturer, Wilsonart International has appointed HVG as the exclusive Australian distributor of its high pressure laminate range including Wilsonart HD, Wilsonart AEON, Wilsonart Chemsurf and Wilsonart Custom Laminates from May 2012.

A leading brand in the USA and the world, the Wilsonart range of high pressure laminates offers superior quality, a wide choice of surface textures and 250+ references for residential and commercial decorative building applications including kitchens, bathrooms, shopfitting and office fitouts.

HVG’s CEO, Bruce Rayment believes the distribution agreement would enable HVG to maximise the potential of Wilsonart in the Australian market.

HVG Decorative Building Products’ Business Manager, David Maltby adds that the HVG sales team has an excellent understanding of the laminates and decorative markets, and intends to grow the Wilsonart brand with strong representation and increased sales support across Australia. Mr Maltby had worked with the Wilsonart brand for six years prior to joining HVG.

Mr Maltby said the new distribution agreement would significantly expand the company’s position in the Australian decorative building products market with the addition of the Wilsonart range broadening HVG’s portfolio of high pressure laminates in Australia.

As part of the distribution agreement, HVG Decorative Building Products will cease selling its existing high-pressure laminate brand, CREASTYLE by mid-2013 while continuing with the supply of its market-leading range of real metal laminates, currently known as CREAMETAL.

Customers will be able to order the Wilsonart laminate range from HVG offices and distribution centres in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
