Crakgon PR, from Hume Internationale is a speciality product for use in areas where cracks are a problem, such as lathe and plaster walls and ceilings, rendered walls, horsehair plaster walls.

Crakgon is applied with the top coats of paint after preparation work has been completed on faulty surfaces. Leave Crakgon and paint to dry for 24 hours. This creates a permanent cover, which allows high abrasion resistance and an unbroken protective, hygienic paint film. Cracks do not reappear because the Crakgon forms a barrier over the surface.

Application is simple. Merely paint through the Crakgon PR film with a fine nap roller and follow the basic rule – if the surface is capable of being painted, then Crakgon PR can be used because the paint becomes the bonding agent.

The product is made from continuous monofilament glass fibres exceeding six micro metres in diameter, which means it cannot be inhaled and is completely safe to use.

Crakgon PR is suitable for both interior and exterior surfaces. It is available in two sizes – 20 metres x 50 cm and 100 metres x 50 cm.
