Thanks to the collaborative efforts of HP and Dscoop, for the first time Dscoop delegates from the Asia Pacific and Japan will attend a global Dscoop conference that coincides with drupa, the largest trade event in the printing industry.

The conference is to be held in Bonn, Germany from April 29th – May 4th 2012, and it will provide Print Service Providers (PSPs) with a variety of tools and methods for capitalising on the many new business opportunities that have arisen as a result of the transition from analog to digital printing practices.

Gido van Praag, Vice President, Graphic Solutions Business, HP Asia Pacific and Japan explains: “We’re strongly committed to empowering PSPs to capture new growth opportunities and bring greater value to their customers.”

The independently run Digital Solutions Cooperative (Dscoop) was founded in 2005 in an attempt to cater to the needs of HP graphics customers in North America. The organisation has since expanded and includes the Asia Pacific/Japan, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Dscoop at drupa 2012 is based around the theme “Time to Grow Your Business.” The six-day event will feature a range of interesting and informative components ranging from conferences through to product solution demonstrations.

A number of panel discussions with topics that are reflective of the event’s them have been devised. These include “Time to Grow Your Business” – About Innovation and Decision Making” and “Different Paths for Success, Strategies for Business Growth”

A number of highly regarded industry professionals including Christian Mengon, Business Development Manager, Industrial Products at HP Indigo and Barney Cox, Senior Consultant, at Infotrends’ European On Demand Printing & Publishing Services will deliver a range of insightful talks.

A selection of 13 customer sites will also be made available for delegates to visit. Here they will be given an in-depth tour of the premises in order to see how different businesses operate.

David Minnett, Chairman of the Dscoop Asia Steering committee said, “By visiting Dscoop at drupa 2012, delegates will enjoy the added benefit of building their knowledge, partnerships and relationships right before the world’s largest printing and publishing industry event.”
